Demi Lovato looks like she’s back on her game.
As Entertainment Tonight has reported, she was spotted out and about in Beverly Hills on Saturday night. The singer and former Disney star is known for her hits like “Cool for the Summer” and “Confident.” She was in rehab for three months after a drug overdose.
Demi Lovato has been public about her struggles with mental illness and drug use and is an advocate for mental health issues. She suffered an overdose on July 24th and has received treatment at two different facilities since August. While she was in rehab she received visits from close friends, family, and her ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama (known for his role on That ’70s Show). The pair were together for six years before their split in 2016, but they remain close friends.
An eyewitness told Entertainment Tonight that Demi Lovato was seen at Matsuhisa restaurant having dinner with the designer Henry Levy. The eyewitness added that they looked happy and relaxed.
Demi Lovato was also seen at Halloween Horror Nights, the annual nighttime Halloween event at Universal Studios Hollywood. An eyewitness said that the star was there to enjoy the night and did not attract a lot of attention.
The singer has struggled off and on with her addictions to drugs and alcohol, but a source told Entertainment Tonight that she’s committed to becoming and staying sober. The source adds that Demi Lovato’s overdose was a wake-up call for the star, who plans to remain in treatment for the rest of 2018.
“Demi is thankful she’s still alive and is doing whatever she can to never get to that point again,” the source says.
In addition to her singing career, Demi Lovato is an established philanthropist who has donated to causes supporting LGBT rights, mental health awareness, and others.
