The Disney+ streaming service has a lot of things going for it. One of the biggest advantages that Disney has is the fact that they own the rights to almost every Marvel character. Therefore, they are free to make original series featuring many of the iconic Marvel characters. One highly anticipated series is called “WandaVision.” It was announced many months ago and was originally scheduled to make its debut in 2021. However, it seems those plans have changed for the better. A new trailer for the series reveals that it will be released in 2020.

“WandaVision” stars Paul Bettany as the Vision and Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda, otherwise known as the Scarlet Witch. It is one of a number of new series that Disney+ has on tap that will feature Marvel characters. The first of these series to be released will be “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.” It is not known why “WandaVision” has been moved up in the pipeline. However, it is certain that loyal Marvel fans are not complaining about it. The exact release date for the series is still a mystery at this time. The trailer only says that it will come out at some point in 2020.

Disney CEO Bob Iger has said that the company has huge plans for Marvel on their new streaming service. It gives them the freedom to put out shows very quickly. He would not say what other projects that Disney has where Marvel is concerned. The next theatrical film that will be produced by Marvel Studios will be “Black Widow” in May. This will be followed by “The Eternals” in November. The entertainment giant wants to attract new customers to Disney+ by loading it with a lot of very exciting Marvel content. It seems they are not wasting any time doing that.

It is not known what “WandaVision” will be about. The plot has been kept a secret and the trailer does not give any big clues. There are rumors that other big Marvel characters will make guest appearances every now and then. However, the identities of these mystery characters are also under wraps for the moment. Disney has a lot riding on the quality of the Marvel shows that they are going to release. They have set a very high standard with the theatrical films they have released. Fans will want the same quality in their Marvel TV shows.
