Larry Kudlow told the press AT&T, Dell, and Microsoft will help build America’s 5G network. Mr. Trump put Huawei, the world’s premier 5G technology company, on the blacklist last May, and that changed the way American tech companies interact with Huawei.

Huawei plans to build 5G infrastructure for more than 30 countries around the world. The $100 billion company is still the second-largest smartphone maker in the world. The new Pro 40 series of smartphones gives Samsung’s foldable phones a run for the smartphone goal, but those phones won’t be available in the United States. In fact, Huawei’s new Harmony Operating System replaces Google’s Android operating system in that smartphone series.

Despite being on the U.S. blacklist, Huawei’s revenue increased by 18% in 2019. But the president continues to turn up the heat on the company by ordering the FCC to put out an edict that would remove all Huawei components from American-made products. American tech companies continue to use Huawei products, but as the tech war with China heats up, the U.S. will try to hurt Huawei any way it can, according to the Chinese news agency.

The deficit dropped in 2019 thanks to a drop in the demand for oil and the trade war with China. Imports from China dropped more than 17%, but imports from Mexico increased by more than 26%. Economists claim there will always be a deficit because Americans spend more than they produce.

Nancy Pelosi took a lot of heat for ripping Trump’s address in half. Nancy told the press she couldn’t find a page in the address that didn’t contain a Trumpian lie. Pelosi said tearing the address in half was a better alternative than some of the other thoughts that crossed her mind when the president refused to shake her hand.

The House Judiciary Committee plans to subpoena John Bolton now that he said he would testify if the Senate called witnesses. Bolton didn’t say he would testify yet. Mr. Trump will probably try to stop him if he agrees to honor the subpoena, according to the New York Times.

Mitt Romney was the only Republican to vote to remove Trump from office, and he immediately felt the president’s wrath. Romney never was a Trumpian, but he made his stand against Trump official during the impeachment trial.

Don Jr. sent out a tweet calling for Romney’s expulsion from the Republican Party. Don Jr. claims Mitt never got over losing his bid for the White House. Trump Jr. said Romney’s an official member of the resistance. Other Republican senators called Mitt a fraud and a snake.
